Employment at Camp Kenan is a rewarding opportunity and a great seasonal job option for high school and college students ages 17 and up. While applicants are not employed based on their high school or college major, Camp Kenan is an ideal resume builder for folks with an interest in education or recreation.

CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS INCLUDE:

ROPES COURSE DIRECTOR AND FACILITATORS - Must have great leadership qualities. Experience in Adventure/Ropes courses necessary. Must be able to lead/train quality staff.

ARCHERY DIRECTOR - Must be knowledgeable in Archery equipment and terminology as well as able to instruct and teach youth how to safely participate in such activites. Past experience or certification courses taken a plus but not required.

DAY CAMP AND RESIDENT CAMP COUNSELORS - Ideal candidates show strong leadership skills, have prior experience working with children, show respect and care for others, and have a positive attitude.

WATERFRONT/POOL DIRECTORS – Supervisor for all activities involving on-site pool or Lake Ontario Waterfront. Lifeguard certifications and experience required for both. Waterfront Lifeguarding Certification needed for waterfront director. Canoeing/Kayaking experience a plus for waterfront as well. Both positions report to overall Aquatics Director. Must be 18 or older.

LIFEGUARDS - Must have proper certifications. (American Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent)
