*NEW!* Swim Camp July 5- July 11
This BRAND NEW specialty program offers participants ages 7-14 the opportunity to spend a week at Camp Kenan, while improving their swimming abilities. Participants will work with certified YMCA staff and local area coaches twice a day (Monday thru Friday). Emphasizing all four competitive strokes, starts, turns, finishes, body streamline and bi-lateral breathing. SPOTS ARE LIMITED! Sign up early.
Mud, Sweat, and Glory July 5 – July 11
Camp's most popular week of the summer! SIGN UP EARLY. This ACTION PACKED week is filled with camp activities, games, and challenges that can help anyone achieve greatness!
Survivor: Camp Kenan July 12 – July 18
This adventurous and spirit filled week is BACK and will yet again be full of camp games, tasks, and challenges that will challenge participants in spirit, mind, and body.
Pirates of Ontario July 19 – July 25
A-Hoy mates! The pirates are back! After years of sailing the Great Lakes, the pirates have discovered Camp Kenan. Join us for plundering, singing, and argh- revelry.
Wild, Wild West July 26 – August 1
The Wild West is BACK at Camp Kenan. Come along on a Gold Rush, stop by the Kenantown Carnival, but get to the bank before the outlaws get your loot!
Olympiad August 2 - August 8
This Camp Kenan CLASSIC has returned yet again! From opening to closing ceremonies there is never a dull moment! More sports, spirit, and friendly competition than one could imagine!

Come share your talents with your cabin mates. Perhaps learn new talents while at camp! Will your cabin win a talent competition? Is Camp Kenan the new “Hollywood” or “Broadway”? Which Hollywood stars will show up at Camp Kenan? Attend this week at camp and find out!

A two-week Leader In Training Program with emphasis on teambuilding, adventure challenge, character development, travel, and fun!
CIT Session I July 5 - July 25
CIT Session II July 26 - August 15
A three-week formal training program for young adults who enjoy working with children and the camping experience.
Instructions For Registration
* To Register: Mail or Fax your application (716-434-0227) along with the required minimum deposit for each session. Upon receipt of Registration, an informal packet containing required health form and other information will be mailed to your residence. *Final Payment due 2 weeks prior to attendance.
* Register Early: Sessions fill up quickly, so apply early to avoid disappointment. Registrations are on a first come basis. Registrants must use the form provided. Call the Lockport YMCA for availability.
* Second Child Pricing: If two or more children in your family are registering for the same session, at the same time, each additional child may receive a $10 reduction on their camp fees. Minimum deposit of $50 per child is required for each session registered.
* Camp Fees: All costs are covered in one fee. T-shirt and one $5 coupon book for the store, merchandise, and craft purchases covered in fee. Exact costs can be found on the Downloadable MS Word Document (Registration FORM) at the bottom of this page.
* Earn Your Way to Camp: All campers have the opportunity to earn camp fees through the Lockport YMCA candy sale. For more information call (716) 434-8887.
* Financial Assistance- Everyone is Welcome: Financial Assistance is available on a limited basis for those who demonstrate a need. All information is kept confidential. Call the Lockport Family YMCA for an application.
* Refund Policy: In case of illness or injury, all paid fees, minus the $50 deposit will be refunded upon written notice from a physician to the Lockport Family YMCA. The $50 dollar deposit is an administrative fee and is non refundable or transferable.
* Cabin Requests: We can not honor or guarantee requests. Children are placed in cabins by age, usually no more than a year and a half separates children in age to keep activities age appropriate.
* Dietary Concerns: Please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary concerns ahead of time. Our Chef makes vegetarian selections readily available and can be accommodate other needs as well.
* Parent Information Packet: Once we have received your deposit and Registration form, a parent information pack will be mailed to your residence. This packet contains information about camp and forms that are required for attendance at Camp Kenan to ensure a high standard of safety. These forms must be received two weeks prior to the session that you are registered, for attendance at Camp Kenan. All forms can be downloaded above
* YMCA Membership: Members of the Lockport Family YMCA receive a discount in camp fees. For more information about membership contact the Lockport YMCA at (716) 434-8887.
Coupon Books: Extra coupon books can be purchased at Camp the first day of each session.
All fees and forms must be received two weeks prior to attendance at Camp Kenan.
